Mitch Ramos

Mitch started his BJJ journey training no gi in 2014 in Fredericton, NB. In 2017 Mitch moved to Barrie, ON, and after much hesitation started training in Gi BJJ.

One year later in 2018 Mitch moved to Cold Lake, AB and continued training both gi and no gi as well as incorporating wrestling and Judo and earning his blue belt in 2019. Under professor Bernie Antle, Mitch was promoted to purple belt in 2023 and began as a BJJ instructor with both adult and youth BJJ programs at Kempe.

Mitch also trains and instructs MMA. When it comes to BJJ Mitch believes “basics is best”.
