Kempe Parent Behaviour & Code of Conduct Policy
At Kempe, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and positive training environment for all students, coaches, and families. Parents and guardians play an important role in supporting this environment. By enrolling a child at Kempe, parents and guardians agree to adhere to the following expectations of conduct.
1. General Conduct ExpectationsParents and guardians are expected to:•Treat all coaches, staff, athletes, and other families with respect at all times.•Support Kempe’s values of discipline, integrity, humility, and teamwork.•Follow ALL club policies, procedures, and decisions as set forth by Kempe owners.•Address concerns calmly, privately, and through the appropriate channels (email is best).•Disruptive, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
2. During Classes & EventsTo ensure a focused and safe training environment:•Parents may not interfere with coaching, instruction, or class flow.•Coaching from the sidelines, shouting instructions, or correcting athletes during class is not permitted.•Negative comments, criticism, or comparisons involving students or coaches are strictly prohibited.•Any concerns regarding training, safety, or conduct must be raised outside of class time.Kempe reserves the right to ask any parent to leave the training area if behaviour becomes disruptive.
3. Communication With Coaches & Staff•All communication must remain respectful, professional, and solution-focused.•Concerns should be brought forward via email or scheduled meetings—not during class or in front of athletes.•Harassment, repeated emails, hostile language, or attempts to pressure staff will not be tolerated.•Kempe is not obligated to engage in ongoing or repetitive correspondence once a decision has been clearly communicated.
4. Online & Social Media ConductParents and guardians are expected to represent Kempe appropriately online, including but not limited to:•Social media platforms•Messaging apps•Online reviews•Public forums or comment sections
The following are strictly prohibited:•Posting false, misleading, or defamatory statements about Kempe, its staff, students, or families.•Publicly airing grievances instead of addressing them privately with Kempe owners.•Engaging in online arguments, harassment, or negative commentary related to the club.
Online behaviour that harms the reputation, safety, or community of Kempe will be treated as a serious breach of conduct.
5. Zero-Tolerance BehaviourKempe maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:•Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or threats (in person, vis email, or online)•Disrespectful or aggressive language toward staff, students, or families•Discriminatory or hateful remarks of any kind•Undermining club policies or staff authority
6. Consequences of Policy ViolationsFailure to comply with this policy may result in:•Verbal or written warnings•Restricted access to classes or events•Removal from the facility•Suspension or termination of a child’s membership without refund
Kempe reserves the right to take immediate action if behaviour is deemed harmful to the club environment.
7. A Shared ResponsibilityOur goal is to build strong, confident, and respectful athletes. This can only be achieved when parents, coaches, and staff work together in a supportive and unified manner. We appreciate your cooperation in upholding the standards that make Kempe a positive and drama-free training space for all.
